We have been working with Mary Katrantzou for nearly 10 years now and so are immensely proud to have been involved in her most successful show yet and such a big moment in the brands history.
Katrantzou’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection was not only shown in Greece, Mary’s country of birth, but was also the first major event to be held at the Ancient Greek temple of Poseidon on Cape Sounion.
We printed direct to gold chain-mail, the design idea was that it would be a collage of Ancient Greek ideas surrounding mathematics and science. The second piece was made from printed black chain-mail and was a trompe l'oeil chalk board with a collage of Greek maths equations which builds together into a robot.
The prints were stunning but as always once made into the final gowns they are jaw-dropping.

Mary Katrantzou had this to say:
“The styles turned out to be fantastic (as our work with you always does!) and the two pieces were particularly well received. Many thanks again for all your help on another fantastic season!”

The Show was a celebration of Greek heritage, history and culture, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of ELPIDA, the Association of Friends of Children with Cancer, established by Mrs. Marianna V. Vardinoyannis. A show in the present, celebrating a past, for a charity which gives hope for the future for thousands of children. Read the full Press Release here:
